Bowling Green To Host Mansfield For Men's Hoops Exhibition Tuesday

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program will open up home competition at the Stroh Center on Tuesday (Nov. 1) with an exhibition against Mansfield. The game is set for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off with all tickets being $5 general admission. This will mark the second exhibition of the season for the Falcons after playing West Virginia last week.Â
The last time out for the Falcons, the Orange and Brown were paced by Samari Curtis with 17 points in addition to three assists, tied for the team lead. Curtis was joined in the double-digit scoring by Gabe O'Neal who tallied 10 along with three rebounds. Rashaun Agee also came one point shy of a double-double, finishing with nine points and a team-high 10 rebounds.Â
Kaden Metheny, a native of Morgantown, W. Va., did a little bit of everything in his homecoming game with three points, three assists and three rebounds. Willie Lightfoot chipped in seven points while Chandler Turner added five rebounds for the BGSU effort. The stat sheet rounded out with Leon Ayers III tallying three points and three rebounds. Sam Towns added four points and two rebounds while Madani Diarra logged two points and two rebounds. Isaac Elsasser had two rebounds and Brenton Mills added one while Ubongabasi Etim saw time on the court as well.Â
The official start to the season for the Falcons will be Nov. 7 as Bowling Green hosts Air Force. This will mark the first meeting in program history between BGSU and Air Force. The game is currently set for a 7:00 p.m. start and will be Heroes Day.Â
