Bowling Green Puts A Program-Record 15 Falcons on the 2022 MAC All-Academic Team

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced that 15 members of the Bowling Green football team have been named to the 2022 Academic All-MAC team. The 15 Falcons breaks the program record set last season with 14. In Scot Loeffler's four-year tenure, BGSU has four of its top five outputs in program history for representation on the the Academic All-MAC team.
Darren Anders (3), Dontrez Brown (2), Levi Gazarek (2), Demetrius Hardamon (2), Brock Horne (3), Matt McDonald (3), Jordan Porter (2) and Jake Rogers (2) have earned the honor multiple times in their career. Jamal Johnson, Mason Lawler, Diego Neri, DJ Taylor, Bronson Warner, PaSean Wimberly and Alex Wollschlaeger all earned the honor for the first tie.
To qualify for Academic All-MAC, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and participate in at least 50 percent of the team's contests. True freshmen are not eligible for the award. Transfers need to have one year of residency to be eligible.
