Falcons Head To Youngstown For Two Weekend Matches

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University tennis team continues non-conference competition with two matches in Youngstown. The action begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, with the Falcons taking on Saint Francis. After the neutral site match, the Orange and Brown will play Youngstown State at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20. Both matches will be held in the Youngstown State Tennis Center.

Last Time Out
The Falcons earned their first win of the season, a 6-1 victory over Findlay. Selina Karg, Ioanna Tsadari, and Hannah Neuman each finished with a singles and doubles win. Annika Vetter and Florencia Fuentes also tallied wins in singles to help the Falcons defeat the Oilers in the Perrysburg Tennis Center.

Saint Francis enters the weekend with a 5-2 record, with wins in their last three matches. The Red Flash open the weekend with a match against Duquesne on Friday, Feb. 18. On Saturday, they begin with a morning clash with Youngstown State before their evening match against BGSU.
