Gdovin's Four Birdies Lead Falcons During Final Day Of Rutherford Intercollegiate

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Bowling Green State University men's golf team completed the Rutherford Intercollegiate on Sunday (April 17) on the Penn State Blue Course. The Falcons shot a team score of 304 on the day to conclude with a score of 899, marking the team's second consecutive score below 900. BGSU's best scores game on par fives, being -8 over the three rounds on such holes.
Connor Gdovin registered the best score by a Falcon during the third round of play, returning to the clubhouse with a 73. Gdovin logged eight pars on the day as well as four birdies. He also set the standard for Bowling Green on par fives, ending the event at -5 on those holes, tied for seventh in the field.
Other individual accomplishments for the Falcons during the event were paced by Tom North. North logged 38 pars over the three rounds, tied for fifth in the field, and had one of the event's 13 eagles over the three rounds.
