Bowling Green DMR Team Records Fourth-Fastest Time in School History

ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Bowling Green Falcons competed in the GVSU Big Meet's Distance Medley Relay on Saturday (Feb. 11), with the team of Katerina Shuble, Raegan Burkey, Izzy Best, and Kylee Cubbison recording a season-best time of 11:42.53 to earn fourth place. This is also the fourth-fastest time in program history, trailing the third-best time by less than one second.

Falcon Facts

The relay team's time ranks fourth in program history and is less than a second shy of the third-best time. It is the fastest DMR time of the season by over 14 seconds.
Katerina Shuble has raced on four of the top five and seven of the top 10 DMR teams in school history.
Raegan Burkey has raced on two of the top four and four of the top nine DMR teams in BGSU history.
Izzy Best has raced on two of the top eight DMR teams in program history, with fellow freshman Kylee Cubbison making her debut in the program's top 10 DMR teams.
