BGSU-Ohio Regular Season Finale Selected For National TV Broadcast

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team's game on Friday, March 3 has been selected by CBS for a national broadcast. The Falcons' contest against the Ohio Bobcats at the Convocation Center in Athens, Ohio will air on CBS Sports Network with the start time moved to 8 p.m.
The game will mark the second consecutive regular season finale for the Falcons to be aired on CBS Sports Network. Last season's Battle of I-75 was carried by the network as well. As for this season, this is BGSU's second nationally televised game, joining the Nov. 22 game against Notre Dame on the ACC Network.
The Falcons have had a nationally televised game in eight straight seasons, dating back to the 2015-16 campaign and covering the entirety of the Coach Huger Era, and had multiple national TV games in a season for six consecutive seasons. Over the eight-year span, BGSU has now had 21 games picked up by a national network, including 11 by CBS Sports Network.
In the first meeting between the Falcons and Bobcats, BGSU claimed an 88-79 win inside the Stroh Center on Jan. 7. Kaden Metheny led the way for the Falcons with 25 points with Rashaun Agee adding 16 points, six rebounds and four blocks along with 13 points from Leon Ayers III. Sam Towns logged his second double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds while Samari Curtis filled the stat sheet with eight points, seven assists and five rebounds.
