BGSU Hockey Starts the Dennis Williams Coaching Era with Series at Mercyhurst

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons are slated to begin the 2024-25 season with a non-conference road series against the Mercyhurst Lakers on Oct.4 and 5. The game will be played at Mercyhurst Ice Center in Erie, Pa. Both games have a scheduled opening faceoff of 7:05pm. This series will mark the first games in the Dennis Williams era after a coaching change in the off-season.

BGSU leads the series all time with a 5-2 record, with a 3-0 record for road games. A season ago, the Falcons and the Lakers split the series with the Lakers taking game one 4-3 in overtime win and the Falcons taking game two with a 4-2 win.
