BGSU Tennis Set For Two Road Matches This Weekend

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio-Â The Bowling Green Falcons (7-11, 0-6 MAC) are set for two MAC matchups this weekend (Apr. 11 and Apr. 14). The Falcons will first travel to Oxford, Ohio on Friday, April 12 where they will face Miami (Ohio)Â for a 1:00 p.m. match. On Sunday, Apr. 14 the Falcons will travel to DeKalb, Ill. where they will face Northern Illinois at 2:00 p.m. CST.Â

Miami enters the weekend with a 9-10 overall record and 3-3 in the MAC. The RedHawks took the court last weekend where they fell to Ball State on Sunday, Apr. 7 (3-4) and Toledo on Friday, Apr. 5 (3-4).Â
Northern Illinois enters this weekend with a 13-9 overall record and 2-4 in the conference. The Huskies split their matches last weekend, earning a 5-2 win over Eastern Michigan. They then fell to Western Michigan 1-6 on Sunday, Apr. 7.Â

Baker fell at No.4 1-6 in set three.Â
Bowling Green Tennis faced Toledo on Keefe Courts on Sunday, Apr. 14. The Falcons fell by a score of 0-7. Isabella Baker won the first set at No. 4 (6-3), Gaby Rondon came back in the second set for a 6-3 win to push to a third set. Rondon ultimately won the third set 6-4 to secure the four spot.Â
