Falcons Return Home For MAC Weekend Split

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (7-9 MAC, 0-4 MAC) will return to Perrysburg Tennis Center this weekend for MAC matches against Ball State and Toledo. The Falcons will face Ball State (5-11, 2-2 MAC) on Friday, Apr. 5 at 1:00 p.m. and Toledo (11-4, 4-0 MAC) on Sunday, Apr. 7 at 1:00 p.m.
Parking and admission at Perrysburg Tennis Center is free of charge. Results will be posted to the BGSUTennis Twitter page, found HERE. Results will also be posted to the BGSU Tennis page on BGSUFalcons.com.
Last Time Out: Falcons Drop MAC Match
The Bulls swept the Falcons in the second matchup of the season on Friday, March 29 in Miller Tennis Center. No.3 Tia Clemens won the first match and fell in the second, pushing to a third set. Clemens fell to Koralnik 10-6 in the third set. On court four, Isabella Baker pushed the match to a third set, ultimately falling to Amat 6-1.
Opponent Outlook
Ball State enters the weekend with a 5-11 overall record and 2-2 in the MAC. The Cardinals last took the court on Friday, March 29 where they fell to Western Michigan 3-4. Ball State looks to open the weekend against the Falcons on Friday and conclude the weekend against Miami (Ohio).
Toledo records a 11-4 overall record and 4-0 in the MAC. The Rockets took the court last Friday (Mar. 29) against Miami (Ohio) where they won 5-2. The Falcons and Rockets last faced each other on Sunday, Mar. 24. The Rockets took the 6-1 win, in the first Battle of I-75.
