Falcons Travel to Evansville for NCAA Great Lakes Regional

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Bowling Green men's cross country team will compete at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday, Nov. 14, with the 8K race set for 11 a.m. CST at the Angel Mounds Cross Country Course.
The Falcons enter the regional meet aiming to close the 2025 season strong after some recently set personal-best performances at the MAC Championship on Nov. 1. Sophomore Luke Lesseuer (25:54.3), sophomore Owen Zaumeyer (25:58.0) and freshman Ashton Boyd (26:48.4) set personal bests in the 8K. All three are part of a developing pack that has steadily improved through the second half of the season.
BGSU has shown consistent growth throughout the fall, highlighted by time drops across its underclassman group. Friday's regional will feature one of the nation's deepest fields, lending the Falcons an opportunity to test their progress and continue to grow as they face five nationally ranked programs in the Great Lakes Region.
Bowling Green will look to build on its MAC improvements in Evansville as it wraps up its postseason schedule.
