Falcons Return Home for CCHA Tilt Against Ferris State

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green ice hockey team returns to the Slater Family Ice Arena for a CCHA series against the Ferris State Bulldogs this weekend, Nov. 14-15. Bowling Green is coming off the back of a split against the Minnesota State Mavericks last weekend, which saw the Falcons land at third in the CCHA standings after taking three of a possible six points against the Mavericks.

- Bowling Green had their first CCHA weekly award winner, as Noah Morneau won Rookie of the Week for his performances against Minnesota State last weekend. Morneau tallied two goals in Friday night's game, including the game-tying goal with the Falcon net empty to force overtime.
- Bowling Green has seen their last four consecutive games end tied after regulation, with three out of their last four going into a shootout.
- Ferris State is coming off their first conference win of the season, as they beat Augustana 2-0 on Saturday, Nov. 8 to improve to 2-8 on the season and 1-3 in the CCHA.
- Ferris State also beat defending national champions Western Michigan in Kalamazoo on Oct. 9, as goaltender Hobie Hedquist stopped 48 shots in the contest.
