BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green ice hockey team battled the Princeton Tigers on Black Friday, cruising to a 4-1 victory. Jaden Grant, Connor Levis, Dominik Rymon and Tyler Hotson each got on the scoresheet for the Falcons. Tyler Palmer made his fourth start of the year, making 17 saves in the game and improving his record to 3-0-1.
How it happened

Jaden Grant opened the scoring for the Falcons just a minute and a half into the game, as he pounced on a loose rebound off a shot from Max Martin, giving the Falcons an early 1-0 lead.
Tyler Palmer made seven saves in the first period to keep the score at 1-0 heading into the middle frame.
Just three minutes into the second period, Max Martin deflected a shot from Breck McKinley that fell perfectly at the hands of Connor Levis, who tucked the puck into the net to make the score 2-0.
Just over a minute later, Dominik Rymon threw a puck towards the net that deflected off of a Princeton skate and into the net, making the score 3-0.
Five minutes into the second, Ivan Korodiuk was issued a five minute major penalty and a game misconduct for boarding. The Falcons then killed off the ensuing penalty, thanks to a key blocked shot by Connor Levis, and two saves from Palmer.
With a little over seven minutes remaining in the second, Tyler Hotson picked up a puck in the slot that bounced off of Ben Doran, firing a shot through the goaltender's legs to make it 4-0 after the second period.
The Tigers got on the scoreboard with just 5:03 left in the game, as Kai Daniells scored on a rebound after Palmer had saved a shot by Kai Greaves.

The Falcons now improve to 6-4-3 on the season, and will be back in action for a rematch with the Tigers on Saturday night. Puck drop for Saturday night's game is slated for 6:07 pm.
