BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green opens the new year with a rivalry-filled weekend against Ohio State, traveling to Columbus on Friday before returning home to a sold-out Slater Family Ice Arena on Saturday night. BGSU enters the weekend 8-5-3 overall, while Ohio State is sitting at 6-10. Friday's game will start at 6:30 p.m. at Value City Arena in Columbus, while BGSU returns to the Slater Family Ice Arena on Saturday for a 6:07 p.m. puck drop.

• Friday's game will be streamed live on Big Ten Network+, while Saturday's game will air on CCHA TV via Midco Sports Plus. Audio will be available on 88.1 WBGU-FM. Opponent Outlook
• Ohio State is playing for the first time in nearly a month and has a 6-10 record, which includes a 2-6 mark in B1G play.
• Most recently, Dec. 4-5, OSU split a series with Minnesota. OSU won the series final in OT.
• Adam Eisele leads the way with eight goals, while Jake Karabela has a team-best 11 assists.
• Karabela also is tied for team lead with 14 points.
• Kristoff Eberly is saving 89.2 percent of shots on goal.
