BGSU Tennis Set for First MAC Road Trip to Miami (OH) and Toledo

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Tennis team will road trip in Ohio to compete against fellow MAC schools Miami (OH) and Toledo. BGSU will play the Miami Redhawks on Friday afternoon and on Sunday against Toledo.
Last Time Out
The Falcons went 1-1 the prior weekend with a win against Oakland and a hard-fought loss against Buffalo. On Friday afternoon, the Falcons took a 6-1 win with the doubles point and wins in singles No. 1-3 and No. 5-6. On Sunday, BGSU took a close 4-3 defeat to the Buffalo Bulls. For BGSU, the bright spots of the match came in No. 3 and No. 5 – No.6 singles. Notably, in No. 6 singles Lucia Gaio came back from dropping a close first set to force a tie breaker and picked up the come from behind win.
