BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green returns to CCHA play on the road this weekend, traveling to Bemidji, Minn., for a two-game conference series against Bemidji State on Friday and Saturday. The Falcons enter the weekend with a 12-6-4 overall record and sit 9-4-3 in CCHA action. BGSU looks to build on its strong road form (5-3-3 away from home) and earn valuable CCHA points against a Bemidji State team it knows well, as the Falcons continue their push through the heart of the conference schedule.

Earlier this season, BGSU and Bemidji State went to overtime in both games in Bowling Green. BSU escaped with four of the six points with an OT win and a shootout win. The upcoming series marks the Falcons' first trip to Bemidji this season as both teams jockey for position in the CCHA standings.

Both games will be contested at the Sanford Center. Friday has an 8:07 p.m. ET puck drop, while Saturday will start at 7:07 p.m. ET.

Opponent Outlook
• Bemidji State comes into the weekend after being swept at then-No. 18 St. Thomas last weekend. BSU has lost four-straight in regulation. They picked up a tie and shootout win at Augustana on Dec. 7, which is the last game the Beavers played where they did not lose.
• BSU took four of six points at BGSU back on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
• Adam Flammang leads BSU with 24 points and 18 assists.
• Oliver Peer leads the Beavers with 13 goals.
• Raythan Robbins leads BSU with an 89.2 saving percentage and a 2.65 goals against average.

Falcon Facts
• The Falcons trail in the all-time series advantage 22-21-5 in a series that started in 2011.
• The last six games in the series have been one-goal affairs or ties. BGSU is 1-3-2 in that span.
• BGSU is coming off a split with Lake Superior State. In a 3-1 victory on Jan. 16, BGSU did not have a penalty. That was just the second time in program history that had happened and first time since Nov. 24, 1978 at Northern Michigan.
• Bowling Green is currently fourth in the CCHA standings with a 9-4-3 record and 30 points. First through fifth place are determined by six points.
• Quinn Emerson leads BGSU with 25 points on seven goals and 18 assists.
• Jaden Grant and Tyler Hotson lead BGSU with eight goals.
• Emmerson lead BGSU with 18 assists.
• Jacob Steinman leads BGSU between the pipes with a 91.2 save percentage to go with a 2.41 goals against average. Tyler Palmer had a team-best 2.16 goals against average.

Next Up
• BGSU goes back to non-conference with a home and home with Notre Dame. On Jan. 30 the Falcons head to Notre Dame for a 7 p.m. start. The Fighting Irish come to Slater Family Ice Arena on Jan. 31 for a 6:07 p.m. puck drop.
