Men's Golf Prepares for the Savannah Intercollegiate

SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Men's Golf team continues its season this weekend as they head to Savannah, Georgia, for the Savannah Intercollegiate. The tournament is set to begin on Saturday, Feb.21 and conclude on Sunday, Feb.22.

LINEUPS

In the lineup for the Falcons are Pedro Garcia, David Chavez, Angelo Luciani, Andrew Lee and Charlie Pettrone.
Competing individually for the Falcons is Filip Geber.

THE FIELD

The Orange and Brown enter the Savannah Intercollegiate against 16 other teams this weekend. The tournament is hosted by JGW Golf.
The Falcons are joined by Youngstown State, Purdue Fort Wayne, Fairfield, Bradley, Villanova, Lehigh, Dartmouth, Colgate, Creighton, Iona, West Georgia, Morehead State, Longwood, Sacred Heart, Queens and IU Indianapolis.

LAST MATCH

BGSU was second overall in pars, led by David Chavez with 37.
Pedro Garcia led the Falcons on the score sheet, shooting 211 for -5 under par, which tied for 11th overall.
Bowling Green finished tied for tenth overall at the Lake Jovita Invitational, shooting +2 as a team.

UP NEXT
The Orange and Brown take a trip to Abilene, Texas, for the West Texas Classic, hosted by Abilene Christian University. The two-day tournament takes place on Monday, Mar. 2, and concludes on Tuesday, Mar. 3.
