Eleven Falcons Named to Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio (BGSU Strategic Communications) – A total of 11 members of the Bowling Green State University softball team have been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon (June 9).
The Falcons' lengthy list includes Taylor Behrendt, Ashley Chevalier, Delaney Davis, Katie Hutter, Cameron Kaufman, Mackenzie Krafcik, Addie Martin, Hanna Massaro, Kendall Mathews, Alyvia Roth and Peyton Steffes.
BGSU's total of 11 honorees is tied for the second highest in the conference in 2026.
Chevalier, Davis and Krafcik each were named to the Academic All-MAC Team for the third consecutive season, while Behrendt, Hutter, Kaufman, Martin and Steffes all earned the honor for the second-straight spring.
The Academic All-MAC team honor is bestowed upon a student-athlete who has excelled in both athletics and academics. To qualify, said student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests for that particular sport. First-year students and transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
