Kickoff Time For Sept. 26 Homecoming Game Against South Florida Set For 5 p.m.

Falcons To Host South Florida For First Time In Program History
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University has announced the kickoff time for the 2026 Homecoming game set for Sept. 26. The Falcons will kickoff against South Florida at 5 p.m. The television network designation will be announced by ESPN and the Mid-American Conference 12 days before kickoff.
Homecoming 2026 celebrates the connection between Bowling Green State University and the city of Bowling Green - one of America's best college towns and the place Falcons have always called home. A full list of homecoming events can be found on the BGSU Events page.
Tickets for Homecoming, along with all BGSU home football games, are now on-sale. Season tickets as well as single-game tickets are available through BGSUFalcons.com or by calling the ticket office at 419-372-0000.
The home football game will be one of numerous events during Homecoming weekend in Bowling Green, including multiple home sporting events. BGSU Volleyball will be home on both Thursday (Sept. 24) and Friday (Sept. 25) to host Miami (OH) for a pair of 6 p.m. starts at the Stroh Center. BGSU Men's Soccer will also be home on Friday (Sept. 25), hosting Western Michigan at 7 p.m. at Cochrane Stadium. As for Saturday (Sept. 26), in addition to the football game there will also be the Swimming & Diving Alumni Event at 11 a.m.
The football game against South Florida will mark the first trip to the Doyt for the Bulls in program history and just the second meeting all-time between BGSU and USF. The two programs previously faced during the 2002 season in Tampa, Fla. with South Florida coming away with the win.
