The Falcons Nest Coaches Show To Return For First Show Of 2026-27 With George, DelPiombo, Snelling

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly Falcons Nest Coaches Show presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night (Aug. 31) on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations with a trio of guests for the first show of the 2026-26 season. The show will begin at 6 p.m. with head football coach Eddie George joining the Voice of the Falcons, Todd Walker. Walker will then be joined by head volleyball coach Alex DelPiombo around 6:20 p.m. followed by head cross country coach Lou Snelling around 6:40 p.m. All three interviews will be in-person at the Bowling Green Fricker's.
This year's show will be hosted in a special room at Fricker's with a maximum capacity of 55. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure an enjoyable and timely experience for all fans, there will not be autograph opportunities — but this creates a more interactive, conversational atmosphere to connect with BGSU coaches and fans.

The BGSU football team will kick off the 2026 season this weekend at home, opening the year against Tarleton State. The Falcons and Texans are set for a 12 p.m. kick on Sept. 5 inside Doyt Perry Stadium. Bowling Green will be embarking on the second season under George's leadership.
The Falcon volleyball program is coming off a weekend sweep at the Jim Stone Challenge, the team's first road invitational sweep of three matches or more to start a season since 2009. Now, the Orange and Brown turn their attention home to the Stroh Center, hosting the Best Western Invitational this weekend. BGSU will welcome Arkansas State, American and Northern Kentucky for the two-day event.
As for cross country, Bowling Green will open the season at home on Saturday (Sept. 4) with both the men's and women's cross country teams hosting the Mel Brodt Collegiate Open. Details regarding teams competing and start times for each event will be released later this week.
