Autumn Williams Era Begins as Falcons Head to Ypsilanti

BGSU to participate in EMU Hidden Duals this weekend
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University tennis team officially opens the Autumn Williams Era this weekend, as the Falcons head to Ypsilanti, Mich., to participate in the EMU Hidden Duals. The four-team event will take place on Friday and Saturday (Sept. 25-26) at the Chippewa Club.
The Falcons will be joined by competitors from Ferris State, Toledo and the host school, Eastern Michigan, in the event. Each team will play one another in singles and doubles play over the course of the two days, with action set to begin at 9:30 a.m. each day. Admission to the event is free.
"We are very excited to play this weekend," said Williams. "The ladies have been working extremely hard to get to this point. I am looking forward to competing and getting better with each match."Â
The Falcons' seven-player roster includes
Seniors Libby Blair and Qianyu Liu, juniors Konstantina Adamopoulou, Richardlyne Francois and Lucia Gaio, sophomore Kiera Taylor and freshman McKenzie Shelton.
