Falcons Travel to Face NKU Tuesday Night

BGSU plays four of the next five matches on the road, including Saturday's Bradley bout

SETTING THE SCENE / FOLLOW THE FALCONS
• The Bowling Green State University men's soccer team steps outside of Missouri Valley Conference play for a Tuesday (Sept. 29) road matchup. Head coach Eric Nichols and the Falcons head to the Greater Cincinnati area to face Northern Kentucky University, with first touch set for 7:00 p.m. at NKU Soccer Stadium.
• Then, the Orange and Brown will return to MVC action with a Saturday (Oct. 3) matchup at Bradley University. That contest will begin at 7:00 p.m. local time (8:00 p.m. ET) at Shea Stadium.
TODAY'S PAGE-ONE-WORTHY NOTES
• Falcon fans will see a pair of familiar faces on Tuesday night. Sean Teepen, in his first year as NKU head coach, spent four seasons on the BGSU staff under Eric Nichols. Teepen was an assistant coach at BG in 2018 and '19, then was promoted to associate head coach for his final two years. He was part of two Falcon teams that advanced to the NCAA Championships.
• Additionally, former Falcon Sergi Martinez is a volunteer coach on the NKU staff. Martinez played two seasons for the Falcons, captaining the team and earning All-Mid-American Conference First-Team honors in 2022. He had 30 points in 36 matches with the Falcons.
• Four of BGSU's next five games will be played on the road. The lone home contest during that time is Saturday night, Oct. 10, vs. Drake.
WHERE TO WATCH
Tuesday's NKU match will not be streamed. Saturday's Bradley bout will be streamed via ESPN+.
