SETTING THE SCENE / FOLLOW THE FALCONS
• The Bowling Green State University women's soccer team, one of just four remaining unbeaten teams in Mid-American Conference play, will face two of the other three unbeatens this week. Head coach Chris Fox and the Falcons will host the University of Massachusetts on Thursday afternoon (Oct. 1). First touch is set for 3:00 p.m. at Cochrane Stadium, and admission – as is the case for all BGSU women's soccer home matches – is free.

• Then, the Orange and Brown will head to Kalamazoo for a Sunday (Oct. 4) matchup with Western Michigan University. The Falcons and Broncos will tangle in a 1:00 p.m. start at the WMU Soccer Complex.

TODAY'S PAGE-ONE-WORTHY NOTES
• As mentioned, the Falcons are playing two of the three other MAC unbeatens this week. Thursday's opponent, Massachusetts, is 3-0-0 in conference play, and the Minutewomen are 18th in the entire nation in the latest RPI rankings.

• Sunday's Western Michigan contest is a rematch of last season's MAC Tournament championship. The Falcons and Broncos played to a tie in last year's regular-season meeting, before WMU picked up a 1-0 win in the league tourney final in Columbus last November.

• BGSU was the only NCAA Division-I program in the nation to go the entire 2025 season without ever allowing more than one goal in a game. The Falcons' streak – the longest in the nation – is now at 32 games entering the UMass match.

WHERE TO WATCH
• Thursday's UMass match will be streamed on YouTube, and produced by WBGU-TV. Sunday's WMU wingding will be streamed via Bronco All-Access.
