2010: Played in six games for the Falcons, picking up seven at-bats … Was perfect on seven attempts in the field … Had the second-most pinch hit at-bats on the team with four and other three came at catcher.
2009: Started 37 games behind the plate for the Falcons . . . posted the second best field percentage on the team (.985) for the second straight season . . . recorded 164 put outs, 32 assists and a mere three errors in 199 chances . . . caught 16 runners stealing on the base path . . . tallied 13 hits, two homers, a double, 11 RBIs and six runs scored.
2008: Named to the All-MAC freshman team . . . started 41 games behind the plate for the Falcons . . . recorded 244 putouts, 32 assists and only four errors tied for the second best fielding percentage on the team (.986) . . . caught 15 runners stealing on the base path . . . posted the best slugging percentage (.412) of any rookie . . . hit five homers, four doubles and 15 RBIs . . . had four multiple hit games on the season . . . recorded her first collegiate hit in the season opener against Lipscomb (February 22) at the Chattanooga Classic . . . hit her first career double against Lipscomb (March 7) at the War Eagle Classic . . . recorded her first collegiate grand slam and homer against Ball State (April 6) recording a career high four RBIs . . . ended the regular season on a six game hitting streak, including two multiple hit games . . . finished the final double-header of the season with two homers on the day against Akron (May 4).
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters at Ellet High School . . . named captain as a senior . . . helped the Orangemen to four City Series league championships . . . as a sophomore helped the Orangemen to district championship with a 24-6 record . . . in her junior campaign the Orangemen recorded another 20-plus win season with a 23-2 record, tallying 16 RBIs, a .562 slugging percentage, a .370 hitting percentage with a perfect season in the field with no errors . . . named first team all-district, first team all-city and second team all-state as a senior . . . earned two additional letters in basketball and volleyball . . . was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council.
PERSONAL: Full name is Katelynn Jeanne Boso . . . daughter of Michael and Cindy Boso . . . born Aug. 8, 1988 ... undecided on a major . . . would like to become a CEO of a large corporation . . . has an older brother . . . played travel ball for Grand Slam, helping the team to a 2005 third place finish at the U-18 ASA Nationals in Owensboro, Kentucky.
