2010: Started all 42 games for the Falcons in center field, playing mostly in the flex position where she did not bat … Had just 25 at-bats but scored seven runs and had a pair of sacrifice bunts … Had hits in back-to-back games against Kent State, going 1-for-2 in the team’s 3-0 win to end the season and then 1-for-2 again in the team’s loss to Kent State in the MAC Tournament.

2009: One of six players to start all 46 games for the Falcons . . . recorded 32 put outs and six assists in center field for the Falcons . . . was perfect on defense in 42 of the Falcons 46 games . . . opened the season with 13 straight error free games in center field, recording 12 putouts and one assist . . . tallied 19 putouts and four assists with a mere two errors in the last 28 games . . . recorded eight hits, six runs scored, and one RBI.

2008: Started 42 out of the 43 games in the outfield . . . recorded 41 putouts and two assists for the Falcons . . . second on the team in steals (three), a perfect 3-3 on the base path . . . recorded her first collegiate hit at home against Central Michigan (April 12) . . . scored 12 runs for the Falcons, the most of any rookie on the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters at Fairless High School . . . also earned three letters in volleyball . . . named captain of both the softball and volleyball team as a senior . . . helped the Falcons to two PAC-7 league championships, two regional semi-final appearances, and a sectional championship . . . as a senior lead the Falcons to a second place finish at state . . . as a sophomore named PAC-7 Player of the Year and Massillon Independent Player of the Year after recording a .432 hitting percentage with 36 stolen bases and a .958 fielding percentage . . . a four-time first team PAC-7 selection, three-time first team all-district selection, and three-time Massillon Independent All Star player . . . holds the Fairless H.S. and Stark County record with 36 stolen bases . . . a member and Treasurer of the National Honor Society as well as Valedictorian and Most Outstanding Math Student.

PERSONAL: Full name is Lindsay Marie Arney ... daughter of Todd and Tami Arney ... born Mar. 20, 1989 ... a pre-pharmacy major with a perfect 3.959 grade-point average through the fall 2009 semester... would like to become a pharmacist ... has a younger sister, Andrea, who is a new member of the Falcon softball team this year ... played travel ball for Ohio Wolfpack with teammate Melissa Bott.
