1959 Football Team Schedule of Events
Here is a tentative schedule of events for the reunion of the undefeated 1959 football team.
Friday, Oct. 2
5 p.m. - Homecoming Parade (members of the 1959 team are invited to walk in the parade)
6 p.m. - Homecoming Pep Rally
7 p.m. - Dinner at the Doyt: 1959 Anniversary Celebration
Post Dinner - Team, Coaches, and Families Gathering
Saturday, Oct. 3
4 p.m. - BGSU vs. Ohio Kickoff
Postgame - Team, Coaches, and Families Gathering sponsored by Nancy and Vic Pirooz (daughter and son-in-law of Bob Colburn)
** - A detailed schedule and registration information will be sent mid-to-late August.
** - Hotel information: A room block has been reserved for members of the 1959 team at The Hampton Inn and Suites (419-662-8800) at a rate of $84. When making a reservation, please indicate that you are with the "1959 National Champions."
