MOSCHEN AND THE FALCONS
PRIOR TO BGSU
COACH CHMIEL ON MOSCHEN
"We are thrilled to have Sofia with us at BGSU. Sofia is a versatile forward with size. She is a three-level scorer who plays with skill and aggression.
"Sofia comes from an incredible family and adds a wealth of international basketball experiences to our program. We are very lucky to add her to our team and our community."
- Joined the Falcons in January of 2025, and enrolled at BGSU in time for the Spring 2025 semester
- Did not see game action for the Falcons in 2024-25
PRIOR TO BGSU
- A graduate of Centro Educational Leonardo Da Vinci.
- Her experiences on the court include representing her country at numerous national tournaments, including the South American U15 Women's Championship in 2022 and both the FIBA U16 Women's Americas Championship and the South American U17 Women's Championship in 2023
- Her team won the title at the latter tournament.
- In 2024, participated in the BWB (Basketball Without Borders) games, averaging 5.7 points per game for the Phoenix Mercury
