Belkis Sanchez began as the academic coordinator for football in the fall of 2014. She received her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Central Florida in 2011 and her master's degree in higher education and student personnel in 2014.
Sanchez served as an assistant academic advisor at UCF beginning in January of 2014, serving as the primary academic advisor for the novice rowing team. She was a graduate assistant in UCF's academic services department for student-athletes from June of 2011 until December of 2013. She also served as a lead tutor in Central Florida's academic services for student-athletes department.
A member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics, Sanchez is an active member of the group's research committee.
