Rasool's first season at BGSU in 2023 saw a secondary that finished the year No. 4 in the nation with 17 interceptions as the Falcons led the nation in takeaways (28). BGSU's starting cornerbacks Jordan Oladokun and Jalen Huskey both finished the year tied for No. 19 in the nation with four interceptions. Huskey was a first-team All-MAC performer and Oladokun earned second-team honors, while Davon Ferguson earned third-team All-MAC accolades. The BGSU defense in 2023 finished No. 25 in the nation in total defense (326.1) and No. 12 in the nation in passing yards allowed (179.8).
Prior to his time at Arizona Rasool spent two years at Missouri as a graduate assistant. In 2019 he spent time with the safeties and moved to the defensive line in 2020.
From 2014-2016 Rasool was the secondary coach and recruiting coordinator at Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, Ariz. During his three season the defense ranked top-10 nationally and were the 2016 Salt Lake City Bowl Champs.
Prior to EAC, Rasool coached corners at Pima Community College in 2012. From 2008-2011 Rasool coached in the high school ranks. He started in 2008 at his alma mater Rincon High School in Tucson as head coach and defensive coordinator of the freshman team. He moved onto Sahuaro High School in Tucson as the junior varsity head coach in 2010 and was the varsity co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach at Ironwood Ridge High School in 2011.
A native of Tucson, Ariz., Rasool played football at Eastern Arizona College in 2006 and 2007. He is a 2020 graduate of Missouri with a bachelor of arts and science degree in general studies.
