Armand first joined Loeffler's staff in 2019 as a defense and special teams quality control assistant. In 2020 and 2021 Armand was a graduate assistant working with the defense, including in 2021 as the safeties coach. While overseeing the safeties in 2021, Jordan Anderson earned third-team All-MAC honors and was one of three FBS players in the nation to record 3+ interceptions, 2+ fumble recoveries and 5+ PBUs.
After his time at BGSU Armand moved to Nashville to work with the Commodores. At Vanderbilt Armand worked with cornerbacks in 2022 and safeties in 2023. In 2022 he was the assistant corners coach where he coached Jeremy Lucien, who is currently with the Baltimore Ravens. In 2023 Armand worked with safeties and coached Jaylen Mahoney who is now with the San Francisco 49ers.
Armand graduated from Stetson University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. A defensive back for the football team while at Stetson, Armand began his coaching career at his alma mater as a defensive quality control assistant from 2018-19. The Miami, Fla., native was a two-time Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll selection for the Stetson Hatters.
Armand earned a master's in business administration from BGSU in 2021.
