2015: Named fourth team preseason All-MAC by Phil Steele. Played in all 14 games during his only season at BGSU as a graduate transfer … made 13 starts at safety … totaled 82 tackles (49 ua, 33 a) – fourth-most on the team … had two interceptions … made eight-or-more tackles in eight different games … had nine tackles in season opener at Tennessee … had eight tackles and a TFL in the win at Maryland … also had eight tackles in the home opener against Memphis … had nine tackles against both UMass and Akron … had an interception in the shutout win at Kent State … registered eight tackles against Ohio … had nine tackles at Western Michigan in the MAC East-clinching win … totaled eight tackles against Toledo … had his second interception of the season in the regular season finale at Ball State … had four tackles and a pass breakup in the MAC Championship Game … recorded four tackles in the GoDaddy Bowl vs. Georgia Southern.

Prior To BG: Played in 15 games over the past two seasons, totaling 35 tackles for the Fighting Irish at safety. He started two games during the 2013 season, making a career-high eight tackles in a November 2013 start against Brigham Young. In a Nov. 9 start against Pittsburgh during that same season, Hardy made seven tackles. He also made tackles in games against Navy, Air Force, USC and Michigan during the 2013 season.

High School: A first-team Associated Press Ohio Division I all-state pick as a defensive back in 2010, Hardy was a four-year starter at Pickerington Central High School—the same high school as Falcon teammates Roger Lewis and Marcus Milton. He was rated as the 209th-best player on Rivals.com list of top 250 players nationally out of high school. As a senior, Hardy was also named to first team All-Metro by the Columbus Dispatch at defensive back as well as a first team defensive back on the AP's All-District team. During his final two high school seasons, Hardy registered 138 tackles and seven interceptions.

Personal: He is the son of Bill and Tina Hardy and has two siblings – Eisen Hardy and Terrance Brown. Eisen was a defensive back at Ohio Dominican, while Terrance Brown played wide receiver at Michigan State from 1998-2001. Hardy earned a degree in sociology from Notre Dame.
