• Started high school career at E.E. Smith High School in Fayetteville where due to the COVID-19 Pandemic he played his true freshman season on varsity in spring 2021
• Transferred to Garner for senior season where he was named honorable mention all-state in 2023
• As a senior he made 36 receptions for 459 yards and six touchdowns
• Also rushed for 296 yards and three scores as a senior in 2023
• Made 28 stops with two interceptions on defense for Garner in 2023
• While at Smithfield-Selma in 2021 he caught 17 passes for 304 yards and five touchdowns
• Returned two kickoffs for touchdowns in 2022 while at Smithfield-Selma
