As a redshirt junior in 1999

Continued his success at long snapper ... helped make the kicking game one of the best in the MAC ... his combination as a snapper with BG's graduated kicker Jason Strasser put BG atop the MAC in place-kicking as Strasser went 11 for 13 in field goals during the season.

As a redshirt sophomore in 1998

Had a strong season in his first year as the snapper for both punts and placements ... recorded four assists as a member of the punt team.

As a redshirt freshman in 1997

Was the back-up to Ed Merritt all season, but saw action in five games mostly in a long snapping role ... was credited with two tackles as a member of the punt unit.

As a freshman in 1996

Was the back-up long snapper ... did not play in any games, earning a redshirt.

Earned three letters for coach Jerry Cooper ... was the long snapper all three seasons while being a reserve offensive guard his sophomore season, a starting tackle as a junior, and the starting center as a senior ... earned All-Western Buckeye League honors as a senior as well as all-district accolades ... also lettered in track two years where he was a district qualifier in the shot put.
