Camden Dietz enters his first season as Bowling Green football’s director of player personnel/recruiting coordinator after joining the staff in April 2023 as the assistant director of player personnel.
In his current role, Dietz is responsible for roster management of current and future rosters. He monitors the transfer portal and identifies and evaluates high school prospects. Dietz also plans and executes official and unofficial visits and helps mentor student interns.
Dietz graduated from the University of Kansas in 2021 with a bachelor’s in sport management and was an honor roll student. He also earned his Master’s in sport management from Kansas in 2023.
As a student at Kansas, Dietz worked as a recruiting and player personnel assistant. He managed 20 student recruiting interns while monitoring the transfer portal and evaluating prospects. Dietz also worked as a video operations assistant filming Jayhawk practices and games for coaches and players review.
Dietz also has a background in scouting, as he attended the Phil Savage Scout School in 2020. At the school, he learned how the NFL evaluates college draft prospects, wrote a player report and participated in a mock draft meeting and film room simulation. In 2022, he assisted NFL scouts with tasks at the NFL Combine through a scouting internship.
A Smith Center, Kansas native, Dietz graduated from Smith Center High School in 2018.
