Damaris Linker was named Bowling Green's Director of Football Operations in April of 2021. At Bowling Green, Linker oversees the daily operations of the Football program, coordinates all team travel arrangements, and serves as the Academic and Compliance liaison.
Prior to arriving in Bowling Green, Linker was the Director of Operations for Texas Tech's volleyball program since January of 2020. At TTU, she collaborated on recruiting materials and social media strategy, monitored and initiated community service and leadership development, coordinate practice setup and facility scheduling, supervised student managers, and served as the liaison to compliance, facilities, marketing, alumni, donors, and administration.
Before her stop in Lubbock, Linker served three seasons as the Director of Volleyball Operations at the University at Mississippi, two seasons in the same role at Ohio University, and worked as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Rockford University in 2014.
During her time at the University of Mississippi, Linker was the liaison for the team for multiple departments, such as administration, academics, compliance, marketing, athletics communications and facilities. She was also responsible for all summer camps and clinics put on by the program.
A well-respected member of the volleyball community, Linker was selected as a speaker for the 2019 American Volleyball Coaches Association National Convention – the largest gathering of volleyball coaches in the world for education, networking and social events.
In the summer of 2018, Linker spearheaded the creation of the Rebels' Ace Club, which provided additional resources and extraordinary experiences for the squad's student-athletes. Linker served a vital role in coordination with the Rebels' NIVC Championship run, as Ole Miss hosted each round of the tournament, including the title game in early December. Additionally, she served as the official director for all of the Rebels home pre-conference tournaments.
Prior to joining the Rebels, Linker spent two seasons as director of volleyball operations at Ohio University. At Ohio, her responsibilities included handling all team travel arrangements, assisting in planning and execution of camps, planning events for the team, alumni, donors and supporters, and assisting in other daily operations of the program.
Before her stint with Ohio University, Linker served as an assistant coach at Rockford University in 2014. Linker helped guide the Regents to their most wins in seven seasons and a No. 3 ranking in NCAA Division III in blocks per set.
Linker played volleyball at Quincy University from 2009-12, captaining the Hawks and earning Academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors in three of those years. She garnered Northwest Missouri All-Tournament Team honors as Quincy's libero in 2009. In 2011, Linker helped lead the Hawks to a berth in the GLVC Tournament for the first time in eight years. She concluded her collegiate career ranked fifth all-time in Quincy history with 1,094 digs. Linker served as a four-year member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Quincy, holding the secretary position for two years.
A native of Lanark, Ill., Linker graduated magna cum laude from Quincy in 2013 with two bachelor of science degrees -- one in accounting and one in finance. She completed her master of science in recreation and sport sciences in December of 2016 from Ohio University.
