Jake Warnke was named the Assistant Athletic Director of Athletic Equipment and Licensing in August of 2019, working primarily with football, men’s and women’s soccer, tennis, men’s and women’s golf, softball, gymnastics, track and field and the swim and dive Team. Warnke is also the Director of Licensing working with CLC to promote and protect University logo’s, word marks and images.
Prior to returning to BGSU, Warnke was the director of equipment for football at Cincinnati, where he was responsible for the day-to-day equipment operations for football. Prior to his stint at Cincinnati, Jake was the director of equipment at Tulsa starting in February of 2016, where he supervised the equipment operations for all 15 varsity teams. Warnke was an assistant equipment manager at Miami (OH) starting fall of 2011, overseeing equipment operations for men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, track and field and football.
He received his bachelor’s degree in sports management from BGSU in 2008, while working as a student manager with football, men’s and women’s basketball, gymnastics and volleyball.
Warnke is a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA).
