Junior College: played two seasons for Coach Martin Harrell...had 15 receptions for 175 yards as a freshman and 30 receptions for 370 yards and three touchdowns in 1997...

Southeast H.S.: played for Coach Don Johnson...earned second-team all-city honors catching 45 passes for 450 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior...was also honorable mention all-city in basketball averaging eight points per game...
