 - Became the first Falcon to earn Academic All-District® First-Team accolades in eight years
 - Also was named to the Academic All-MAC Team
 - And, was named a MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete as well
 - Blossomed into one of the Falcons' top players in 2019
 - Played in 49 of BGSU's 51 games, making 47 starts, and finished third on the team with a .311 batting average
 - After totaling nine hits in her freshman year, finished second on the team with a total of 42 hits as a sophomore, and tied for second on the Falcons in RBI, with 25

 - Alex was a four-year BGSU softball letterwinner, wrapping up her career in the spring of 2019
 - Cousin, Jim Sorgi, was a quarterback at the Univ. of Wisconsin and in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts
