Was the female recipient of the MAC's Bob James Award Memorial Scholarship for 2021
That award is one of the most prestigious honors given out by the conference office
Named to the Academic All-MAC Team
Also named an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete
One of just two Falcons to start all 54 games

Was one of three finalists for the Female Junior Scholar-Athlete of the Year award at the Ziggys, the athletic department's year-end awards banquet
The award is given to just one male and one female athlete, across all sports, in the junior class
Was inducted into Chi Eta Sigma, the national college athlete honor society
On the diamond, was one of five Falcons to start all 17 games
Hit .273 to finish fifth on the team
Had four extra-base hits, the second-highest total on the Falcons
Had two doubles, a triple and a homer
Was third on the club in both runs scored and RBI, with nine of each, and finished fourth with 15 total hits

Singled and scored a run vs. nationally-ranked Tennessee the following weekend
The next day, also singled and scored vs. the host school, ETSU, at the Buccaneer Classic

Became the first Falcon to earn Academic All-District® First-Team accolades in eight years

Blossomed into one of the Falcons' top players in 2019
Played in 49 of BGSU's 51 games, making 47 starts, and finished third on the team with a .311 batting average
After totaling nine hits in her freshman year, finished second on the team with a total of 42 hits as a sophomore, and tied for second on the Falcons in RBI, with 25

Cousin, Jim Sorgi, was a quarterback at the Univ. of Wisconsin and in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts
