Played in 24 games during an injury-plagued season, but showed flashes of dominance when he was healthy ... started 10 games, all in conference play, averaging 16.4 minutes per contest ... shot 43.4 percent from the field and 70.8 percent from the free-throw line, a full 10 percent higher than his 60.8 percent from the line as a freshman ... fifth on the team in scoring (6.2 points) and third in rebounding (4.4 per game) ... shot 47.9 percent from the floor in MAC games, averaging 7.3 points and 4.8 rebounds ... named MAC Eastern Division Player of the Week twice in a three-week stretch, receiving the award on Dec. 29 and Jan. 12 ... averaged 14.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in wins over Towson and Eastern Illinois to get the award the first time ... had 22 points, including 17 in the first half, and made 9-of-14 shots in a win over Buffalo to open MAC play to be named Player of the Week for the second time. In that contest, he made both of his three-point attempts, the only three[apos]s he made on the season ... during an eight-game stretch in Dec. and Jan., he averaged 10.8 points and 6.8 rebounds, shooting 47 percent from the floor ... Came back from an injury that forced him to miss five consecutive games to spark the team with seven points and two rebounds in eight minutes off the bench in the win over Ohio in the MAC Tournament quarterfinals ... had two blocked shots in the final 35 seconds to help the Falcons preserve a win over Central Michigan ... had critical blocked shots in back-to-back games, rejecting a fastbreak lay-up with 1:15 to go in a 62-58 win over Ball State and swatting away an Ohio shot with four seconds remaining in a 52-51 road win ... tied his career high with 14 rebounds, five on the offensive glass, in a victory over Fordham ... posted the team[apos]s first double-double of the season when he had 16 points and 10 rebounds, making 8-of-9 free-throws, in a win over Eastern Illinois.
2007-08
Played in 29 games, starting 28 ... had 10.7 points and a team-leading 7.3 rebounds per game, ranking sixth in the MAC in the latter ... was second on the Falcons in scoring and third in blocked shots (1.0 per game) ... had four double-doubles on the year, and fell just one rebound shy of a double-double on four other occasions ... had 11 points and a team-high nine rebounds in the MAC Tournament game against Toledo ... 10 points and nine boards in a win over nationally-ranked Kent State ... had double-doubles against both Detroit and Akron in February action, with identical totals of 12 points and 11 rebounds ... led BG with 15 points at Eastern Michigan, adding three assists ... had 10 rebounds against Toledo ... led BG with 13 points and added six rebounds at Western Michigan ... 12 points, nine rebounds and three steals against Northern Illinois ... had 11 points and nine rebounds against Miami, knocking down a jumper with 23.3 seconds left that gave the team a three-point lead ... had a double-double against Duquesne with 14 points and a career-high 14 rebounds ... 14 points and nine boards against Illinois State ... led the team with 23 points at Oakland, going 11-for-16 from the field ... MVP of the Peggy Cronin Classic in his hometown of Cincinnati and was named MAC Eastern Division Player of the Week on Nov. 12 for that performance ... In that tournament, had a double-double in his collegiate debut with 16 points and 10 rebounds against Western Carolina. Followed that up with 20 points in a win over Bellmont and 24 points and eight rebounds, making 10-of-16 shots, in a win over Cincinnati.
2006-07
Sat out the 2006-07 season, his first year on campus, to fulfill NCAA eligibility requirements.
At The Patterson School
Attended The Patterson School in North Carolina during 2005-06 ... helped the team to a 37-3 record and a No. 3 national ranking for prep schools ... averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds per game.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2005 graduate of Withrow H.S. in Cincinnati (the same high school that BGSU coaches Louis Orr and George Jackson attended) ... was a first-team all-city and a two-time all-state selection for coach Steve Gentry ... was the Southwest Ohio Public School League MVP as a senior, averaging 23 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks per game as the team advanced to the district championship ... also was the SWOPL MVP in his junior year of 2003-04, averaging 22 points and 10 boards per game ... in a win over Dayton Dunbar that year, had 43 points, 24 rebounds and 12 blocked shots ... also averaged a double-double as a sophomore with 14 points and 10 rebounds per game as the Tigers went 20-1 overall and 15-0 in the league.
