BGSU: tops on BGSU team during outdoor competition in discus (138-10) and hammer (157-9)...had best day of the spring at Clemson, taking first place in his flight in the discus and hammer with throws of 135-11 and 140-10 respectively...finished sixth in the hammer (154-5) and tenth in the discus (135-4) at the Northwest Ohio Classic...also finished tenth in the hammer at Hillsdale after a throw of 154-9 1/4

High School: earned nine varsity letters in football (3), wrestling (3) and track (3) at Oak Harbor High School...holds the school record their in the discus...earned all-state honors in all three sports
