George Baldwin

George Baldwin earned letters in football in 1941, 1942, and 1946 while he was a baseball letter-winner in 1942 and 1946. He was a two-way guard in football and was a second baseman in baseball.
In 1947, Baldwin began a coaching career that would span more than four decades and take him to numerous destinations both here in the U.S. and abroad.
His first coaching job was at Childrens' Village in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. before he began an 11-year association with Dwight Marrow High School where he compiled a 69-26-4 record winning six state titles. He began his collegiate career at West Chester University before becoming the head coach at Kutztown University in 1973 where he is still the winningest coach in school history with 61 victories. Baldwin sent nany of his players off to NFL camps were they had success on the National level.
Baldwin was inducted into the BGSU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1991.
