Nelson Emerson

Nelson Emerson is one of the top offensive players to ever play on the collegiate level. He ended his career sixth on the all-time NCAA career scoring list with 294 points, 24 more points than any player in school history and the most ever by a player in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.
One of three players in school history to earn All-American honors twice, Emerson is the BG career leader in points and assists (182), and ranks sixth in goals (112).
Emerson began his sixth season of professional hockey this month with Winnipeg, his third season with the Jets. He also played for two years with St. Louis and one year with Peoria in the International Hockey League. Emerson retired from the NHL after 12 seasons playing with various teams. Emerson is now the Director of Player Personal for the Kings.Â
