Robert Reynolds, a 1964 Bowling Green graduate, is regarded by many as the finest offensive lineman in BGSU football history.
The Nashville, Tenn., native played in only three losing games in his college career and won All-Conference honors in 1961 and 1962 while leading the Falcons to two MAC championships.
He was drafted in the second-round by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1963. Before joining St. Louis, he played in the All-American Bowl and the Chicago College All-Star Game.
Reynolds became a starter for St. Louis in his second year and appeared in 121 of a possible 126 games. He was named to the Pro Bowl three times since 1967. He played for the last two seasons with New England before being picked up by the Cardinals near the end of the 1973 season.
