The Bowling Green State University men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at home on Wednesday afternoon to visiting Oakland University (11-4-2). The Falcons are now 7-9-1 overall and will conclude the regular-season with a Mid-American Conference match at Eastern Michigan on Sunday afternoon that begins at 2 p.m.
The Golden Grizzlies scored the lone goal of the match at the 22:30 mark when Viggo Anthonsen's through ball sent Inge Pedersen in on a breakaway. Pedersen's low shot to the far post beat Falcon goalkeeper Ty Fowler, who finished the match with four saves.
