Season Begins With 16th Place Finish

The Bowling Green State University men's golf team began its 1999-2000 campaign with a 16th-place finish at the Hawkeye Intercollegiate in Iowa City, Iowa.
Leading the way for the Falcons were Justin Gillham, who carded a 54-hole score of 225 to tie for 38th, while Jon Smarrelli tied for 70th with a 235 score.
After taking the upcoming weekend off, BG will participate in the Eastern Kentucky Invitational on Sept. 24-25 in Richmond, Kentucky.
