Falcons Prepare For Final Fall Action

UP NEXT: The Bowling Green State University women's tennis team will complete the fall portion of the 1999-2000 schedule next week at the ITA Regionals. Qualifying matches will be held on Nov. 3-4, with regional play taking place Nov. 5-8. Columbus, Ohio, will be the site of the regional action.
LAST WEEK: The Falcons of head coach Penny Dean competed at the Mid-American Conference Fall Invitational in Kalamazoo, Mich., last weekend (Oct. 22-24). Eight MAC teams were at the tourney, including Akron, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Miami, Northern Illinois, Toledo, host Western Michigan and the Falcons.
In singles action, junior Tracy Howitt had the most success, winning her first two matches at the #6 flight before losing in the championship match.
In doubles action, every BGSU team won its first-round match before losing in the second round.
