McLeod, Pardon Lead White Over Orange

Bowling Green, Ohio - Juniors Keith McLeod and Brandon Pardon combined for 37 points and knocked in all seven of their three-point attempts combined to lead the White Team to a 59-46 victory over the Orange Team in a 25-minute public scrimmage.
McLeod connected on all four of three-point shots and also added eight of nine free throws. Pardon was six of eight from the floor, including three-of-three from beyond 19'9". He also added five assists. Sophomore transfer Ray Austin added 12 points and a team-high five rebounds for the victors who shot 44.2 percent. The White squad, which also included freshman Josh Almanson (7 points) and sophomore Kris Gerken (3 points) committed just four turnovers.
The Orange squad was paced by junior All-MAC performer Len Matela who finished with 17 points and freshman center Kevin Netter who had 13 points and three blocked shots. Matela hit eight of his 11 field goal attempts. For the orange, sophomore Cory Ryan had nine points, five rebounds and four assists, senior Trent Jackson had seven points and freshman Jabari Mattox had five boards and five assists.
