Women's Tennis Falls At Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. - Host Nebraska won all six singles flights en route to an 8-1 win over visiting Bowling Green in women's tennis action Friday (Feb. 18). The dual match was held at the Woods Tennis Center in Lincoln, Neb.
The Falcons, now 4-2 in dual play this season, picked up a win at the number-two doubles flight, courtesy of senior Deidee Bissinger and junior Meghan Rhodes.
Nebraska, now 3-1 on the season, entered the match ranked 73rd in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The Cornhuskers have lost only to ninth-ranked Texas this year.
The Falcons will look to rebound with a neutral-site match in Lincoln against Wyoming. That dual is scheduled for Saturday morning (Feb. 19) at 10:00 a.m.
