Men's Tennis Falls To Nationally-Ranked Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Bowling Green men's tennis team suffered a 6-1 road loss to nationally-ranked Kentucky Friday night (March 10). The host Wildcats are ranked 23rd in the country in the latest WingspanBank.com Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division I Top 25.
The Falcons, who fell to 4-4, got a win at the fifth singles flight, courtesy of freshman Geoff Hiscox. Hiscox recorded a win over UK's Dalibor Mihajlovic by scores of 7-6 and 6-2.
BG's other win came at the number-three doubles level, from the team of sophomore Ed Kuresman and freshman Micael Lopez-Acevedo. The pair won a 9-8 decision.
BGSU remains on the road for a Saturday (March 11) match at Eastern Kentucky. BGSU then returns home for next Friday's (March 17) home match vs. Wright State. The WSU contest will begin a four-match homestand.
