BG Men's Golf Opens Spring Season

Savannah, GA - The BGSU Men's Golf team began its spring season in the 2000 Wolverine South Invitational being held at the Hunter Golf Club in Savannah, Georgia.
BG is in 16th place of 18 teams after the first day with a team total of 336. Methodist College is in first place at 304.
Freshman Adam Balls is BG's top individual after 18 holes with an 81. He is tied for 34th, while senior David Kotsos is tied for 44th after carding an 82.
Justin Gillham shot an 85 and is tied for 72nd, Andy Miller shot an 88 and is tied for 83rd, with Jon Smarrelli is in 87th place after shooting a 90.
The tournament concludes with 36 holes on Sunday.
