Pat Miller Named MAC Athlete Of The Week

Bowling Green senior Pat Miller (Waterloo, IN/DeKalb) has been selected as the Mid-American Conference Athlete of the Week for men's track.
Miller ran the anchor leg as BG's sprint medley relay team broke a 28-year-old school record last weekend in the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, Texas. Miller along with Rah'Sheen Clay, Ricco Oglesby and Zerian Peterson recorded a time of 3:21.06 to win their heat and place second overall. The previous mark of 3:21.8 was set in 1972 by Rex Miller, Ed Watkins, Ted Farver and Olympic Gold Medalist Dave Wottle.
He ran the third leg in the 4x400 meter relay which won its heat last Friday in a time of 3:12.41. The 4x400 relay team placed eighth in the finals in a time of 3:13.16.
Miller also ran the final leg in the 4x800 meter relay which placed 11th in a time of 7:51.19.
He has the top 800m time this year for the Falcons at 1:52.79.
